Hula Halau 'O Nalua Workshops
A Basic Hula Workshop is scheduled for TBA. This workshop is a Prerequisite for all new students and students currently enrolled in a Tahitian dance class with Otea Api prior to enrollment in a Hula class with the Halau.
Age Requirement: Workshop open to men/women ages 9 years and up. Upon successful completion of this workshop, students will be eligible for enrollment in one of the following Hula classes per Kumu Hula recommendation:
Monday, 600pm Papa Pikake (Girls 9-12 yrs)
Thursday, 645pm Papa Mokihana (Women 13 yrs & Up)
TBA - Kane Hula (Men 13 yrs & up)
TBA - Keiki Kane Hula (Boys 9-12 yrs)
Cost for workshop: $50 per new student
Special Rate for students currently enrolled in Tahitian dance class with Otea Api

Workshop Requirement: A mimimum of 10 students must be enrolled by July 21st to warrant the workshop. In the event the minimum is not met, workshop fee will be refunded or credited to Halau account.
Attire: Pa'u skirt for women recommended; Halau will provide pa'u skirt to those without for use during workshop. Recommend comfortable pants or walking shorts for men. Blue jeans not recommended.
Students are encouraged to bring bottle water.
